Comments on the release

I'm swamped at work today, but I'm still in a good mood due to this release. I think someone already used the phrase "giddy as a schoolgirl."

It was fun to hang out in the chat room last night and "meet" some of the people that have worked so hard on this game (Markus), and others who play such an important role in it's success (Malleus, Rolen, etc.) I wasn't able to stay up until 3am PST, but I did have fun trying to solve Markus' trivia questions at midnight....

As for the game itself, I got up early, downloaded the game and Rolens file and played an exhibition game before facing the morning commute. I thought I had seen all of the new UI features with the many screenshots that have been posted, but the player photos ON THE FIELD blew me away. Too, too cool. Markus, Steve, and everyone else, great job!!!!

Note to Rolen: I saw in another thread that Ricky Henderson's age was wrong when using your file, and the same thing happened for me. Re-entering his birthday fixed the problem, but I wonder how many other players have this issue, and will it affect gameplay if I don't fix them individually? (retiring, etc.)

I can't wait to start up my career tonight!!!
