PC has Boston Elites available....
The Professional Circuit, a fictional league set in 1898 (yes 1898) has the Boston Elites open.
We are a fictional league with a custom names file that produces era correct names for our amateurs each season. We have 12 teams, no financial, and play a 126-game schedule. Our league numbers resemble deadball era numbers, for those interested. Come see Walter Crenshaw (my avatar), Bib Walsh, Allie Calvert and the rest of the Circuit boys make history. Integration happened in 1897 with the court battle of Fleetwood Moses, who now roams CF for the New York Perfectos. We are entering the offseason of our 4th season and Boston will have the first pick in the upcoming amateur draft. So if you'd like to get in at the start of our 5th season, now's the time for you. The link for the league is in my sig and I ask that you send your interest to volunteer1967@hotmail.com for consideration. We will carry 9/12 of our original owners into our 5th season and the league is a great escape from your regular leagues. Thanks for your interest. |
