Y'know....a large afro would mesh really well in a circular logo...

It took a little while, but I've come up with an idea for this I like so I'm actually looking forward to working on this logo. This, and the Orlando Crushers logo I want to do for littlechris1977, are the first logos in awhile that I'm actually excited to start working on. Most of the others have felt more like tasks, and I had to find inspiration in the process rather than having inspiration right at the outset.

Hopefully these will turn out well so as to justify my initial enthusiasm...

Thanks for being excited about working on my logo. I tried to come up with names that aren't used very much. I am currentyl using your Portland logo from the contest. I changed the name of their team from Waves to Timberjacks and used your logo. It shows up great in the game.

It's not often a concept comes to mind that I'm excited about, most of the time it's a matter of plugging away at it until something comes together. I just hope I can capture what I see in my mind, that's the tricky part.

I'm going to do the contest logo first and then try the Crushers after. Wish I could give a more definite time frame, but these things do have a way of being bigger time sinks than I expect...

Arrrghgh, I just started this one not long ago, and didn't think it'd be that much trouble since there wasn't anything that complicated in the design. Probably a lot of fiddling around to get things just right, but not much more than that.

Well, so much for that hope. I'm getting stuck already in technical matters. Sheesh...

Same person, different picture. I think the two pics are equally pleasant myself, but perhaps I'm biased on the subject.

In any case, there'll be a new pic next Monday, like my signature says.

On a sad note, I don't think I'm going to get anything submissions in this week. What I wanted to do just isn't going to work, and I don't feel up to trying to cobble something else together at this late point. It all came down to the letter M - apparently it's impossible to chisel it in a nice way. It looks like crap, even though all the other letters are fine. Very annoying, and surprising.

If only the team name didn't have any Ms in it then it would have worked out fine...

LGO, you are just too hard to please...you are harder to please than me.

Suck it up...take 15 minutes like LivnLegend and create an excellent logo.

Well, maybe I'll take one more stab at it, but I still don't think it'll work like I want.

As to the Fort Worth Buckeroos, unfortunately I don't really like the name. It's just too cartoonish to me. Now, if it was something like Orlando Crushers, then I'd be all set because I have a design for that.

Wonderful news! The less competition for me, the better. :P

BTW, I'm thinking that sebastian's new avatar is even better than your old one.
