Salary Bug Question

I had a quick question about an issue that I had read about awhile back. It used to be that a player would ask for less money to resign if you switched his position. It was supposed to be addressed with a patch. I was curious to see if this is still an ongoing issue with the game or if it's officially been laid to rest.

The reason I ask is because in our league, a player listed as a SP but used out of the pen all year is "Unhappy with the playing time" when you go to offer an extension. When you switch him to MR, he gives you what he'll resign for. So, has the issue been fixed?

the problem in your league doesnt seem related to the original problem.

he is unhappy with his playing time because he's expecting to be a SP, but only getting MR innings.

as far as i can tell the original problem has been fixed.

I'll confirm that. You may still find cases of players requesting varying amounts based on primary position, but Markus has taken a lot of steps to make these minimal. The comment about playing time occurs because of the player's usage. There have been reports of these comments being made even with players who have started nearly every game though. In these cases, you can just view the comments as if they were a general displeasure with the organization as a whole.
