Post This bothers me a lot

There is one thing that bothers me that, frankly, I can't believe others aren't yelling about.

With the financials off, there is no offseason trading. I think this is a HUGE problem. I've tried work-arounds (like turning on financials right before Proceeding to Next Season) but it just doesn't work.

Just a guess, most people playing in on-going leagues probably leave the financials on so most probably would never even notice.

I'm sure you're right but I can't believe that NO ONE else plays with the financials off.

I have heard that some historical re-players will play with finances off to be more like old-time baseball (no free agency & fewer player moves), but in most of these cases having no AI off-season trading might actually be a benefit. Otherwise I would guess that almost all users, online & solo, play with finances on.

I know that does not help your query, but at least it explains why it's an issue that has not recieved a lot of attention yet.

I just wasn't bothered by the lack of off season trading... I made my trades just before the season began or during the early season if I was going to, as did the AI.

How was the AI able to make trades before the season?
