nVIDIA GeForce 6600GT conflict!

I just installed this video card and now OOTP6 won't work. The main menu opens, but not everything is displayed and it cuts in and out, freezing everything up.

If I switch to 256 color mode, the game will work, but the text is hard to read because everything becomes pixelated.

Is there anything I can do to get OOTP6 to work with my new video card?
