Historical Data

When I run a replay (career mode) league, like the 1927 or 1968 season, each season, I always go click on the use historical numbers.

The reason? When I did the 1927 season, I did not do it in 1927. Babe Ruth hit 80 HRs.

So, I strarted the 1968 season when I ended the 27 season in 1952 and at the 1/2 point, I noticed that Willie Horton was on pace to hit 80 HRS.

So, I stopped the sim and went and hit it.

He ended up with 54. Which is about right if I modified it at the 1/2 point.

He had 40 1/2 way though, he hit 14 the rest of the way. So, if we double the 2nd half, we come up with 28. He had 25 that year.

I think when you pick a historical season, shouldn't it be using historical data?
