Looking for my first league!

I am interesting in joining a new league as the Atlanta Braves or possibly another team from the 2004 season. I have never done an online league before, but I have an idea how they work and I am ready to learn. Please leave me a message here or email me at tavis@woh.rr.com.

There are a couple of posts on here for people looking for a current player league that is just beginning. Unfortunately, it would appear that no one is starting any new leagues in that format. All of the new leagues being formed are fictional or historical.

I am in a couple of leagues, and I have yet to get a chance to join an actual current player league in it's infancy. One thing that I have seen however, is that the maturity level in current player leagues seems to be a bit on the...low side. Also I have seen a couple that have finished the 2004 season, and then, a bunch of people quit and then the league is in bad shape.

i currently have 2 openings in S3BL right now. this is a OOTP 6 league and we are getting ready to start the draft. www.s3bl.simleaguecentral.com is the site and take a look at the Mets and D-Backs. Let me know and i am willing to help you out in your first league

Got a couple of hits for you...

1. Braves are available. (But still in Milwaukee)
2. Sorry were a Historical League.
3. We are a NEW league, barely at May 27 in our inaugural season.
4. We have a few Newbies and a few grissled Fantasy Vets and the Commish, yours truly, is very helpful.

If you're too young to know the 1960 players, well so are we. Only one of our current GM's was even born before that time. On the league website, there's a great resource link page to help you do research on every player that ever lived.
