I am starting my own league and have ran in to a issue with the website when i go to test the connection i get a Error report saying "the password was not allowed" the site is www.ootp5baseball.150m.com

ok i have even more issues
how do i create the starting directory?
and Destination report files?

Hey Dude, I don't blame YOU but, with intentions to help you out, I went to your website and webhost and it I got hit with spyware attacks everytime I clicked on a link. I know your webhosting was free but I'd suggest looking for another host first. I don't think anyone in your league is gonna want popups and spyware when they access your league site.

Also, try to avoid making a website with frames. They can be pretty tricky when used on Free sites because the ads tend to shift around your content making things diffucult to navigate for visitors.

Anyway, get a site that supports ftp (File Transfer Protocol) which means you can transfer files to and from your HD and website as if it were ALL on your HD. Then get FileZilla, an ftp program that works similarly to Explorer. It will enable you to create and transfer any files from you HD to your site easily.

I would suggest buying a webhosting plan. There are some very inexpensive deals out there from many people. www.pointblanksolutions.com i have worked with before, so i know you could get a solid deal from them.

Thanks Benchwarmer i placed my order could you give me ahand on seting up this site so when my pointblanksolutions site is ready i will know what i am doing for sure

Sure,when you get your Server Address, and FTP info, i can give you a hand with getting it set-up. It's not too difficult, you will catch on quickly.

Sorry--I am leaving for the Army soon, so i cant join any leagues until i get out of Basic, which will be 9 weeks long. I've actually had to drop 3 leagues because it, but the two listed in my sig i am able to stay in. Mike is just going to watch over the team while i am away, so i will be able to stay in the league.
