CatoBase problem, power failure
While processing a year, my CPU failed when the power went off, in the middle of importing...when I retried it said the year was already in the DB...I deleted all the files not in a year folder in the data what else do I need to do?

Go to Database / Delete 19xx Season (19xx will be whatever your most recent season is) and it will delete all the data from that year from the database, so you can re-import cleanly.

You could always just reload your most recent backup.
Though, jmm's suggestion would also work as long as that season is listed there. If not, you'd have to probably manually delete every field in the database for that year.

renamed it mlb smooth... BUT then when creating the html pages CPU froze...UGH!!!! What do I delete? Or do I follow jmm's advice and say delete 19xx...and then reimport and recreate the html pages again...it froze on SS positional leaderboards

I'd probably follow jmm's advice. Just make sure that 19xx is actually the year that you were importing when the power went out. The whole deleting every record thing was more of a joke. I can't imagine how long it'd take to do that and I'd imagine it would be painstakingly, well a pain in the ass. Though, if it's a last resort and you absolutely need it, I'd imagine it could be done.

Yea the season is already imported, but if I create the HTML again...I know it will not finish because it was in the midst of being created, I forgot what error I got last time my CPU froze in the middle of the 5 hour create HTML process, but I am sure it will kick me out

If you haven't tried it yet, I'd definitely do a Delete 19xx and then re-import that year...
Is the computer freezing up because of Catobase or because of something else? Before you start creating HTML, disable your anti-virus software (it'll go a lot faster, if nothing else) and screen saver, and make sure there aren't any scheduled tasks that will go off while Catobase is running, such as scandisk, defrag, etc. It's also possible that your entire database was hosed by the power failure, and that you'll have to recreate the entire thing from Year 1... but I think it's more likely that your computer freezing has nothing to do with the power failure, or even Catobase at all.
