"South Carolina Strom Thurmonds" team logo

Looking for someone that would be nice enough to photshop me up a nice little logo of Strom Thurmond doing anything "action-oriented" for my new OTBA team. The team name on the logo would be great, too.. as far as team name goes, I will also accept "South Carolina Fightin' Strom Thurmonds".

Thank you in advance for you help.

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!

Here's a pic:

Perhaps you could photoshop a right hand sticking up hold a baseball as throw he were going to throw it and adding a S.C. Strom Thurmonds baseball cap on his head and then shrink the whole thing down.

Just a thought.

Thanks! I now have to choose between two pretty good ones.

I actually quite like that one - perhaps I'm weird.

Guys, we are talking about a "South Carolina Strom Thurmonds" logo for a baseball geek's online league.

We're all a bit off in the head.

Do they have a fierce rivalry with the North Carolina Jesse Helms?

FastLane,

This is the kind of stuff I hate to have happen. You did a lot of work on the logo and it looks great, but when I didn't hear from you again yesterday and saw the other logo posted on here I sent that in for my team. I had to apologize to DaED as well, because he made me a nice logo, too. But we both agreed that the one I'm using now works better. Sorry that you had to put in the work. I hope there are no hard feelings.

Naah...no hard feelings at all, Bob.

I never go into doing the work of creating a logo thinking that mine is gonna be the be-all, end-all logo of that particular request. Its a hobby and I attack each piece like I would if I was making it for myself first and the 'client' second.

Its always fun...sometimes challenging, a little frustrating (when Im not perfectly able to get something 'just so')...but always, in the end, fun.

So, no worries, dude.

Who knows? One day somebody may come along and use it for his own ends...

...shyeeaahh, right.

Another mighty fine FastLane production.

I can't wait to see your Portland Timberjacks...I bet it will be something special.

Tomorrow is an exciting day. I am looking forward to 5-10 fine and original logos.

You must not have seen the other threads yet. Better start looking forward to more. I'm at 14 already.

Oh, and FastLane isn't one of them...Yet.

I've really been hitting the Mods board hard trying to get some of these logo requests knocked out...I felt guilty because I took a week off. I think I pounded out a half dozen original logos in the last 24 hour period. phew....

Now its 12 hours to go and I still have to try tackling the first entry in the contest. And I gotta say, I just haven't had that bolt of inspiration strike me yet with the Portland TimberJacks. Which isn't to say I won't try to knock one out.
I'll give it a go. I just hope I can compete. I know there's gotta be some great ones done, so far.

You should expect an e-mail from me at some point today, Shmoo....
