Constant run-time errors...

I just purchased the game off the website, and was running it fine for about an hour or so. I then attempted to begin a historic league, and it said that the path for the league files were incorrect or invalid.

So I closed out of the game for a moment, and went back into to resume the fictional league I had started. Since then, EVERYTHING gives me a run time error.

I've received the error when I attempted opening my fictional league, and again when I tried starting another league and clicked the "Confirm League" button.

Has this happened to anyone else, and is there a solution?

Have you deleted any files or leagues?

Yes.

After I created my fictional league, I deleted the folder that contained the information for the blank default league. I believe it was called "New League".

Could be the problem, try installing the game to a different location and move your leagues over that should solve it.

That doesn't require a disc or uninstallation, right?

Once you install it in a new location you can delete the old after transferring your leagues.

I had the same problem, but I reinstalled it like you said and it worked.
but I was wondering if I should do the "unwise" uninstall or just put the game that had the run time errors in the recycle bin?

Do the unwise installation. That's what I did, and I've never had a problem with it again.
