Post So what did I do wrong?

I created a fictional league, composed of two divisions of four teams each, playing a 100 game schedule. I let the season sim itself sans human interference, asking it to stop before the post season. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, there was never a championship game, no post season to speak of at all. The game kept simming empty calender days and presumably would have continued doing so for quite a while had I not pressed the space bar to figure out what the problem was. As soon as I stopped the simming, the standings screen appeared and announced that it was time for the next season. The news headlines after the last day of regular season play were filled with repeats of the batting and pitching title award winners. I don't know. Maybe this has been addressed elsewhere. Help?

Did you have one league, with 2 divisions, or two seperate leagues?

I believe you have to have 2 seperate leagues in order to have a post season. Something I hope would be changed in the future <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Exactly, 2 leagues for playoffs as the game is currently set.

Yes, there was one league comprised of two, four team divisions. There needs to be two leagues for playoff games to occur, huh?

So instead of one league with 2 divisions... set up two 4 team leagues... name each league a division and give the association the league name. You then would have an All Star game, playoffs and all the trimmings...
