Mid Season NFL MVP
Who is the Mid Season Mvp?
I have to make a case for Drew Brees he is doing great this year with LT not even perfoming as well as he did last year.

The idea of a "Midseason" or "First Half MVP" baffles me.
Until there is a championship trophy given at the midpoint of a season, I don't see a reason to select an MVP.

Peyton manning who's more valuble to his team than him? The colts wouldnt miss Edge.james that much if he was hurt Marvin harrison also. But if manning were to get hurt the colts would be luckky to win another game this season with out him.

Without a doubt Drew Brees. He doesn't have a whole lot to work with and he's still putting up awesome numbers.

No way is Roethlisberger a MVP. Not even a top 5 guy right now. He has the leagues best defense, and the league 2nd best rushing attack, and two pro bowl WR's to support him. I find it funny that people think Big ben is a MVP right now. Tommy Maddox could have gotten this club 6 or 7 wins right now with the above mentioned combinations.
The MVP is Drew Brees right now. |

tom Brady i think if you put any descent Q.b. in N.E system you get the same results Brees - Im not buying that for a sec. guy has had 1 half season of productivity and suddenly hes mvp? Nah tomlinson id buy into if ya said him hes the one i think that's the real deal if your going to give a mvp to somebody in S.D. c"mon now the guy probally would have been on the bench if rivers hadnt held out .

...but he did and that point is very moot. "Rivers would be the starter if he didn't hold out, so Brees shouldn't be the MVP." LMFAO |

Because Tomlinson has been better in seasons past but is less effective this season he should still be MVP? I don't get this?

The Steelers were not a horrible team like the Chargers were last year. Brees has brought them back up with great games last 2 games he has 9 touchdowns. He may be fighting for his job and it seems kind of like a Tiki Barber of a few years ago when Ron Dayne was drafted but he sure is playing great for his job

Tiki Barber.
Without him, the Giants would be lucky to have 2 wins all year. |
