Historical League Questions Stats

A quick question for folks on the forum...

I started a historical league using Lahman 5.1 starting in year 1977. When I started setting up the teams, I noticed it listed the "simmed" 1977 stats along with the "Real" 1977 stats in each player card. I realized I had forgotten to change the League Setup from Replay to Career, so I went ahead and did that. Now it listed 1977 and 1976 stats instead of 1977 and "Real".

However, upon closer inspection... the stats for 1976 are still the "Real 1977" stats - it just has the 1976 header instead of the "Real" header. Does this always happen in the first year of a historical career sim? Is there any way to get it to display the real life 1976 stats on the 1976 line?

Just curious... thanks for any help!

It has always happened that way in mine. I think those either disappear once new stats are created in the current season, or after the conclusion of the current season. They are not counted in their statistic totals or history.

Yes, that's always been like that. It doesn't affect anything, though. The career stats are still fine. I actually kind of like it for some odd reason.

Thanks much - I guess I just didn't notice that when I started my first league in OOTP5. Glad to know it's normal.
