dburden Minors (Rookie Ball) Join Date: Jul 2004 Posts: 21	DFA / Auto-Manage issue (possible duplicate) I've seen it posted that you can get around the fact that guys who are signed to minor league contracts can't be directly assigned to AAA by pressing "auto-manage minor leagues." I just wanted to point out that this works for all players, not just those on minor league contracts, and thus allows the player to circumvent waiver rules. If this is well known and understood problem, please just delete this thread. As for my , it seems that DFA was a good idea that may not have been worth the trouble.
