Can I change a players possible stats by the option?

I have a serious question about the season option.

a player's expecting stats (maybe vary somewhat) is calculated only by his current rating? (rating = for example, contact, gappow, pow, eye etc..)

or calculated by mixed with ratings + past records..?

We can change the percentage of past records and current rating in the season option.

but I dont know that it can 'change a players probable stats really' or just change his sallary demand and trade AI's value for him..

for example.. if I vary them to 100% to his last year stats...
his possible stats are about same as the last year's?

I'm not live in english-using country.. sorry for poor english... I hope you can understand mine correctly.

I understand it to be only the AI evaluation of the player. The expected stats are more influenced by the League Totals selections. Sure someone will correct me if I am mistaken.

Question while on this subject. The evaluation percentages can exceed a total of 100%. Is there a reason for this, or is there an effect, for instance, setting them to 80/30/30/30? What do you suspect would be the result?

thx for ur comment..

but.. I think...

a player's expecting stats should be the same as AI's value for the player..

I dont want a gap between AI's value for him and his real expecting stats..

and what can I do for it?

please help..

AFAIK, you're right about the percentages versus League Totals. Player's ratings and the League Totals are the only influence on their stats, while the AI Evaluation percentages only determine how valuable the game (both AI teams and the players themselves) thinks a player is, both for salary negotations and roster decisions.

As for percentages not equalling 100%, this is just supposition, but the way I think of it is that each category's percentage is the maximum number of "value points" the game will assign for that category. So with an 80/30/30/30 set up, now the game is grading on a 0-170 scale instead of a 0-100... but everybody's on the same system, so it should work fine (and would work the same as if you set it up as 40/15/15/15 or other similar proportions).

If you want the AI to value a player purely for his ability and not past success, set it to 100% ratings. The other stuff is mostly useful for those of us who play with ratings turned off.
