OOTP Developments has a Trouble Ticket database reporter found here: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/troubleticketform.php .
The moderation staff also patrols these forums, along with the beta testing team. Markus cannot patrol all the forums, as his time is limited, so the moderation team along with the beta testers help out with reported issues, and many of the beta team report about issues they have found and cannot recreate in the beta testers forum. The issues that are found are reviewed and the trouble ticket form logs it into the database for the OOTP Developments to take further action on. If there isn't an quick answer on the forums, it might be that they are trying to recreate the error, or not enough information about the error, or there is not enough personal information from the reporter of the issues. (system specifications, what you were doing at the time when the error occured, what time in the season are you, etc) . That is why when people report issues with the barest of information, sometimes we don't know what to be looking for, and ask for more clarification. The more information we have about your personal computer, what you were doing while playing the game, what version you are playing with, is a better start than " the game crashed while trying to sign a free agent." (The problem with the above example is that we don't know what part of the season you are in, and whether this is solo or multiplayer mode, etc..) More information is better than one line of very little information. If the information is posted, someone is looking into it, and will get back to you asap, sometimes it takes us a little while to research and recreate, and sometimes we have to ask for more information. ![]() So never fear, someone is always looking for the issues, and trying to help get them fixed, or addressed in a timely manner. That might not be posting an answer until we have something definite, but we are keeping our eyes out for anything that pops up. Hope that helps! TC |
