![]() I think it's going ot be a heck of a series. The Astros is a good team, but I think tehy are overmatched against hte Cards despite having a better pitching staff. Still, I think this will be a series to remember. |

I have a real problem with this series.... I like Jeff Kent and Houston as a team... but I also want good old Canadian boy Walker to make the next round.
I have a feeling I wont know who I'm cheering for until I'm actually watching a game....

For me if the Red Sox advance I won't really care who wins the NLCS. But if the Yankees win, I'll want the Cardinals to win the NL as I believe they have the better shot at the Empire.

Cardinals have this one in the bag.
Cardinals-Red Sox should be a good World Series! so i guess we go ahead and give this one to the Cards then?

I don't know guys... there is just something about the chance of seeing Roger Clemens defeat the Yankees in the World Series deciding game in New York that makes me giddy....
man... I hope they have a camera on George when that happens!!! (that being said - go Sox! )

Anachronism, it's a tough call, I agree. I want Biggio to win, but I hate Clemens so much...

As a big Cardinals fan, I have some concerns about Houston.
First, they (Houston) won the season series. Second, they have the best record in baseball since the first of August. Third, the Cards are without their #1 starter, Carpenter. Fourth, the Cards don't match up well vs. Clemens and Oswalt. Having said all that, its going to be a heck of a series! |

So Backe will start game 1, right? Will Garner put Clemens in game 2 again on three days rest, or will they go with Pete Munro?

I wonder if that will depend on who wins game 1. I can't see them going with Munro down a game. |

Dumbest damn thing ever would be to pitch Clemens on short rest.
DO IT! |
