For the first time ever, I am posting an opening for the OBP Baseball Sim League. The Los Angeles Dodgers have become available. The OBPBSL started out as a 2003 current roster league, we are now in our ninth season (2011), and this is the first time I have posted and opening for this league on these boards. I tried to fill the Dodgers by visinting Dodgers Blues.com but they didn't know what OOTP was.

So now you know what team is available here or the vitals of the league:

League Statement: The OBP Baseball Simulation League (OBPBSL) is a simulation fantasy baseball league. The OBPBSL will use the latest version and patch of OOTPv5 to sim all games. All owners must own a copy of OOTPv5. Owners may manage their team anyway they see fit, but the OBPBSL expects all owners to make an honest effort to field a winning and profitable club while providing a competitive and friendly atmosphere within the league.

Game Play:

Sim every second day unless posted otherwise.
Sims will be approx. half a month at a time.
League FTP exports are due by 1 PM EST o*n scheduled sim days.
Owners must export their team file utilizing the FtpExport feature within the game.
All transactions will take place the day before the sim.
The website will then be updated including the league file (zip) and box scores.
Playoffs will be simmed live o*n AIM o*n days determined by owner availability.

League Settings:

Standard MLB League Structure. This includes Wildcard for the playoffs and DH in the American League********.
Coaches/Scout System: Disabled
Ratings System: Traditional
Era: Modern Baseball, 1980+
Team Cash Maximum: Unlimited
Salary Cap: $90,000,000
Number of Amateur Draft Rounds: 5
Amateur Draft is held: June
Arbitration: Enabled
Minor League Option Years: Enabled
Ticket prices: May be set any time in the year.
Team Market: Set to 'Good' in league setup for all teams. The game itself will determine this as the league progresses.
Fan Loyalty: Set to 'Good' in league setup for all teams. The game itself will determine this as the league progresses.
Current Fan Interest: Set to '65' in league setup for all teams. The game itself will determine this as the league progresses.

****** We actually got rid of two teams and its owners last year. One was Pittsburgh because I really can't stand that place and the second was Arizona because that is where my ex-wife was from and after we got divorced I just didn't want to look at that state's name any more. Plus both owners were AWOL and instead of advertising for the opening we aggreed as a league to just dump them.********
