Cubs @ Astros - August 20, 2004

The Cubs went crazy with the bats tonight, smashing 6 HR, IIRC. Sammy and Nomah each got one, as well as Alou and 2 by Grudz... OK, maybe only 5 taters.

This is the third game report I've done on the Cubs this year, so it'll be brief. I'll only show pics of players I haven't gotten yet, or ones that are better than before.

I guess I'll start out with another Dusty pic. This guy always seems to be laughing or smiling.

im curious, in your very first picture, who are the two ball players hugging in the backround? Or at least it looks like they are.

That looks like Jose Vizcaino hugging one of the Latin guys from the Cubs. The Latino ballplayers seem to be a tight-knit group, and Vizcaino & Carlos Beltran (and Octavio Dotel before he got traded) typically spend a good bit of time of their pre-game over by the opponents' dugout visiting with their counterparts..
