In Season FA's won't sign for what they are asking

I am not sure if this one was reported, but in season FA's won't sign for what they are asking, but if you add 1 dollar to the contract, they will.

Yep, it's a known issue.

Is it a common one though? Is it ONLY if you try to give them exactly what they ask for? I routinely offer less than they ask for and usually have no problems.

Actually, this only refers to Free Agent offers during the season, but not extension offers for players already on your team.
