Glasco Athletics logo needed
Need a GLASCO ATHLETICS logo.
Create it totally yourself...or use some of my suggestions. old-fashioned look...colors: navy blue, royal blue, light blue, bluish green (aqua) and white on a white background. Try to work the Bluish Green (aqua) in because it is a seaport resort with beautiful blue green water...also located on the Green River. I like the design of this one: (Medford Athletics) http://www.logoserver.com/Northwest.html Please, if possible, make Athletics, Glasco and A's large enough to be seen on Team Setup screen...Athletics the largest...Glasco a little smaller...and A's the smallest of the three...try to make the "A" and "S" on Athletics bigger than the other letters as in the logo example. Add Glasco above Athletics...try to use as many blue colors as you think looks good. Include the baseball diamond and the baseball with the A's inside it. Or create you own logo as you wish. Whatever you do will be appreciated. Glasco is a seaport town of 60,000 in the southeastern tip of Ruthlandia (named for Babe Ruth)...situated on the Green River, which traverses the country from north to south and empties into the Southern Sea..known for shipping, shipbuilding, oil, seafood and a year round resort area...and also home of the Glasco Athletics of the Federal Baseball Association...the A's have a long history of amateur baseball and were sponsored many years by the oil industry...players were given jobs year round by companies and were given time off to play baseball during the season. PK, thanks for doing the logo. You did it well.
However the team name is GLASCO...not Medford...Medford was just the example of the logo that I wanted recreated. I will be glad to use yours, unless someone tries to recreate the Medford example with the fancy font for "Athletics" and the "A's" inside the ball. Don't correct the name until I contact you by e-mail. I don't want you to waste your time correcting it, if someone else recreate my original suggestion. |

Still hope someone will try to recreate the logo example:
(or do your own creation if you prefer) (see Medford Athletics...however the name I want is GLASCO ATHLETICS) Please use various shades of blue: navy, royal, sky blue, bluish green (aqua). Use white for trim and background...frame or border the logo with white and blue trim. Place GLASCO above ATHLETICS (make "A" and "S" larger as in the example)...make Glasco a little smaller than Athletics...put A's inside of baseball. http://www.logoserver.com/Northwest.html Last edited by Eugene Church; 08-15-2004 at 03:39 PM. |

PK, thanks for the effort. You did the logo very well. I just really liked the style of the Medford logo.

Thank you very much, jdew.
#2 is great...Thanks for using my colors and the Medford design. That's the one I wanted. It is very well done. If you can, would you remove the baseball stitches, so the "A's" would be more visible. If it is not possible, it is fine the way it is. Thanks for sharing your fine talents and skills here on the forum. Last edited by Eugene Church; 08-16-2004 at 02:10 PM. |

Sure.
Here's #2 with the baseball stiches "lightened" and then with the stiches removed entirely. Let me know if you want anything else altered.... |

They are both fine...Really appreciate the colors, design and the revisions.
No need for any revisions. I'll see which one shows up best in the game. Thanks for doing both of them. |

jdew, I just installed the Glasco Athletics in the game and it looks gorgeous...even on the Team Setup screen...doesn't get spotty or splotchy like some logos do.
A special thanks for the aquamarine color...I use Pac Bell Park for the Glasco A's stadium and the logo really looks great on the game screen with the blue/green water in the background. Thanks. |
