Era Calculator ?
I started a historical league and around 1909 I downloaded the era calculator. I'm not big on having correct numbers or even if something ridiculous happens I won't replay the season because I am looking to simulate until 2003. Anyway, a few stats were really messed up and right now the doubles are messed up. For example, in 1912 Ty Cobb had 84 doubles and he was not an exception. Anyway, this is the third season in a row this has happened because after the season since the amount of 2Bs is so ridiculous the era calculator recommends negative numbers. If I actually use this number then no one will hit a double. This post may have been confusing, but I really enjoy the era calculator but right now it is not working for me, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem.

doubling the number you have for doubles would result in a 1/2 decrease in doubles numbers. You can figure out how much to raise the number if you keep that in mind.

Thank you, that should solve half the problem, except half the problem still exists...using your solution I will get good numbers but the era calculator will think I put in negative numbers and that those worked, so it will keep on giving me negative numbers.
