AI Issue. . . The Cubs in the Series!!!
I'm enjoying the game, although I still think this game could be SO much better. If a patch or a future version of this game is going to be released, I do sincerely hope that this issue is resolved. Here goes:
My $17M stud pitcher (20-5 2.36 236K in 259IP) for the Cubs was injured in late September for about a week, in enough time to make it back for the postseason. I crossed my fingers, but nevertheless recieved the dreaded "You have been placed on the DL" Phone call. I get upset thinking, "Logically, why would a manager put their #1 pitcher on the DL? Can't they live with 4 starters for the 2 weeks prior to the postseason?" Then I freaked out when I remembered. "WAIT a second! They don't NEED to put me on the DL. The roster increases to 40 in September! They have PLENTY of space on their roster!" Keeping in mind that the purpose of the DL is to be make space to bring up other players, why would a manager place a pitcher on the DL at all in September? Oh, the Cubs LOST the series 4-2 and the starter that took my place was (Predictably) 0-4 in the postseason including 2 losses in the series:P Hopefully, I'm making my point clear. Please refine the AI for DL use in future versions.

exactly, when day to day injuries can put you on the DL for 2 months and you don't come up for a cup of coffee when the rosters jump to 40... something is wrong. :-\
