Is there software to change photo names to player numbers?
I want to use TigerFan's facepacks for a fictional league.
Will I have to manually change the players names to numbers? Or will Irfanview do it? |

I know you can do it with batchthumbs but im not familiar with irfanview. and with all the chaos about facepacks recently, as a precaution i would shoot Tiger Fan an email about it. better safe than sorry.

Thanks for reminding me. You are right. I should ask permission to use them...although they are available on several sites.
Thanks for the reply about renumbering them. I have used Irfanview to change .jpg to .bmp. Does anyone know if you can also use it to change player names to player numbers? And if so, how do set it to do that? |

Yes, IrFanView will do it. under File goto batch conversion/rename, put the photos into the "input files" section, then goto "set rename options" and make "name pattern" p#

Irfanview is incredible...it took very little time to convert them to .bmp and then change the player names to player number. It did both them at the same time.
I thought I was going to have to renumber them manually one at a time...which would have taken quite a while for over 9000 photos. Thanks again to all of you. |
