Ultimate Historical Facepack Help Needed
As many of you are aware I have made a number of historical facepacks and have received many requests for photo sets from the years I missed 1910-19 and 1980-2003. Since I started gathering images for OOTP it has become almost an obsession and is now to the point where I have over 40,000 images (old photos, cards etc) saved on cd rom. My goal is to get an image suitable for use in OOTP of every player to play major league baseball between 1901 and today.
I am sure it will be impossible to find an image of everyone but I will take as many as I can and release them in a set. The set will be released alphabetically. So far I have completed players who's last name starts with A,B,C, I, Y and Z. In all I have about 2500 images resized and ready to go. It will be a long process as I spent a month just finishing those letters (prior to OOTP6 testing) so it will likely take me a year to complete every one. As a letter is completed I will release it but I am also asking for help in finding the missing players. If anyone has a link to, or a scanned image they could send me for any of these players it would be greatly appreciated. I will post my missing players list by last name in replys to this thread. If you have an image of anyone feel free to post it here or send me an email. They will be hard to find as most of the missing players played well under 100 career games.

Missing players who's last name starts with Z
Of the 69 players who's last name starts with Z to play MLB between 1901 and 2003 I have images for 48 including Paul Zahniser who was 25-47 for 3 teams in the 1920's. Zahniser is pictured below.
Here are the players I need. I am hoping someone with a decent card collection and access to a scanner can help with the guys from the 80's and 90's and perhaps someone with one of Marc Onkonen's great photo history books and a scanner can aid me with some of the others. I have 58 of the 84 players who's last name starts with Y. Here is who I am still missing. George Yeager is the only one who really saw much action.

I possibly have a pretty bad quality pic of Roy Zimmerman taken from a newspaper while he was playing for a minor league team in my area. I'll check and let you know

Here's an obscure find.
May 21st, 1970, and Cards catcher Bart Zeller enters the game as sub in the bottom of the ninth, score level 3-all between St. Louie and the Phillies. Zeller earns one putout on a Billy McCool strikeout of pinch-hitter Jim Hutto. Tony Tayler singles in the next at-bat to drive home the winning run. Zeller never makes it to the plate. Two months later he is released by the Cards and this will mark his only appearance in a big-league uni.

Cliff Young.
In 1993, pitchers Steve Olin and Tim Crews of the Cleveland Indians were killed in a boating accident. After the season, pitcher Cliff Young died in a car accident at the age of 28. They say bad things come in threes.
