Irrevocable Waivers question.

I don't fully understand every aspect of finances in BB. If I put a player on irrevocable waivers and he gets picked up, will that team be responsible for his entire salary?

Their entire remaining salary, yes. Any salary that's already been paid out to that player will not have to be paid (again) by the new team, but all obligations remaining on his contract are now the responsibility of the new team.
