Weird Stall While Simming

Never had this issue before, seems really weird.
This anomoly appeared all of a sudden, as in I can't account for any changes that I made that might have triggered this.
Here's what's happening:
I go to sim a week or a month. The games sim (28 team league) by in 3-4 seconds but then after that, the game just sits in the Finishing Day part for a full and exact 60 seconds before doing anything.
I've tried: Checking the Game setup, rebooting comp, closing all other progs.

Any help appreciated.

Addtl Info:

Have plenty of space 3+ gigs on HD
Have 512 MB of RAM
Tried playing OOTP5, and this problem did not occur.
Tried playing another league (32 team) in OOTP6 and the delay was still there but shortened to 12 seconds
Tried playing standard career mode in OOTP6 with standard 30 teams, delay was in the mid 20s of seconds

More than likely one of the following is the problem:

-The same position is listed twice in the lineup.
-The same player is listed twice in the lineup.
-One position is missing.
-An "injured" pitcher is scheduled to start a game.

I don't quite understand how that can be the solution for the following reasons:

- I have had a situation before where the same person was listed twice in the lineup and this did not happen.
- It was taking place over months of sim time
- It was taking place over 3 different leagues

But, for whatever reason I think the patch has fixed it, I'll post more soon as I'm currently in the offseason so can't test it yet.

Sorry I cant come up with a definite cause, but for whatever reason, upgrading to 6.03 has completely fixed the problem.
