Issue with coaches/scout salary charges when they retire with years left on contract

EDIT: I have tested this in 6.03 and the issue apparently still remains.

Haven't seen this mentioned before (I apologize if I missed), and since I finally pinned down exactly what I think is happening I am bringing it up here.

When a member of your staff retires before the end of his contract as noted in the team news, there is a charge to the team player expenses as noted on the front office screen. I know coach/scout salaries are counted under player expenses, but if they retire it does not seem correct to have the money they have left on their deal being charged to the team. That may be arguable, but apparently the remaining value of the contract plus another year is charged to the player expenses. No way that seems right to me.

Below are examples I am seeing right now in a fictional league finished with the preseason and at April 1, 2012. The coaches listed and their contracts are taken from the Almanac from the end of the previous (Oct 2011). Coaches mentioned are now retired as of this season according to the team notes. The dollar figures at the end of the line are the amount of player expenses so far from the current team front office screen.

Team A: Chet Silk ($406,600 - thru 2013) & Brian Tollett ($533,600 - thru 2013); $2,820,600
Team B: Gordan Kamm ($515,000 - thru 2013); $1,545,000
Team C: none; $0
Team D: Bill Detweiler ($532,800 - thru 2012); $1,065,600

I'm using 6.02a but have no idea how long this may have been occurring.

I didnt notice this in version 5 although I didnt look too close. I havent been using coaches or scouts in version 6.

Just another reason not to use coaches and scouts I suppose.

I noticed for the first time a coach/scout retired during the "proceed to next season" after the last year of his contract, and similarly to the above cases the team was charged in the player expenses the yearly value of the old contract.
