Is there a way to select groups of fighters?
If you want to start a universe, say, for the 1950s, how would you go about it? Do you create a group called, for example, "1950s Universe" and then go down the list of retired fighters and pick the ones who fought during that era, and add them one by one to the group? Or is it possible to search for and automatically select en mass the fighters that will fit the new group you are creating?
Or do you have a separate DB for each universe you are running? I'm just wondering how people are organizing things. Also, is it possible to change the career stage of all of the active fighters to "prime" without doing it one fighter at a time?

If you want to make a group, such as '1950's heavyweights' you will need to go through all of the fighters seeing when their career started/ended etc to determine who goes into your group. What you can do to make it a bit easier and less time consuming is go to 'Options' then click on 'Import/Export'. Then click on 'Export fighter database to HTML'. Then your current database will be set out in your internet browser I think and all of the dates are in the same column, making it easier for you to scan down them checking the boxer's individual era's.
There is no way to search through the fighters for things such as 'career start' and 'career end'. This could be an idea for a future patch if it's not too hard to do. |

You can use the autoscheduler, that is how I get the new fighters each year in my universe. In the first screen you have an option for the year of the fight. For example when I move on to year 1905, I will run the autoscheduler for all weights with the year set at 1905. I occasionally miss a guy but it does a pretty good job.

The way I do it is to just go to the select fighter 1 screen where you go to make a single bout and select the year that you want at the bottom of that. It will only show the fighters that fought in that selected year then.
