Crash After the First 3 games
i'm desperate not to have to reconstruct the file for our league... help would be greatly appreciated...
okay, here's the situation: 1. we used the CBL 2.0 roster set of 30 teams, put all the players into a fantasy draft, and drafted using only 26 teams. everything appeared to go fine. 2. i set all teams to computer, and ran automanager. 3. i wanted to see if the file was stable, so i generated a schedule and started a sim. 4. after the first 3 games, the games crashes and closes. 5. when i checked the schedule, it had scheduled not only games involving the 26 teams we created, but also additional games involving "San Francisco vs. San Francisco". these teams remain on human control when i set everything to computer control, and when i click on the team(s), it has no players. when i click on San Francisco in the team list, the team has all its correct players. 6. the "ghost teams" are teams 26-30, e.g. the extra teams that supplied players for the fantasy draft but didn't exist for the fantasy draft. 7. even deleting all the games that these "ghost teams" are involved in from the schedule doesn't allow the game to sim beyond the first 3 games of the season. 8. i made a new standard league using the file we had created from the fantasy draft. when i look at the schedule for this new league, there are NO SCHEDULED GAMES involving the ghost teams (apparently creating the new standard league allowed them to be removed), but THE GAME STILL CANNOT SIM BEYOND THE FIRST THREE GAMES OF THE SEASON. clearly there is some problem with moving from the opening 3 game series to the next three game series. i'm desperate to not redo this file, and really need some help on what to do next... i've tried all the obvious fixes, and nothing seems to have worked. i'd appreciate some help in this forum, or you can email me at sweitze75@hotmail.com. thanks! |
