MLBR [Unique solid historical league entering 1918 season] seeks new Braves owne

The MLB Replay league is a fast paced historical league. We sim each season in a week. Each sim being either 30 or 45 days long. We do not sim on weekends. The following week we sim the off-season. We are entering 1918, our 18th season as a league. There is no free agency but we have a unique non-monetary free agent system to stimulate player movement. Rookies are based on Ankit's career totals database but also edited painstakingly by me to try and ensure maximum possible historical accuracy. We have a very good group of experienced owners. The MLBR will be upgrading to OOTP6 soon but is currently using OOTP5. The vision of the MLBR is to try to recreate baseball history as accurately as possible while still allowing for the natural volatility and uncertainty that OOTP provides.

Our Braves owner has decided to step down for personal reasons so we need a replacement. The Braves have been contenders in the NL for the last few years and they have a good young team so there's no reason why they shouldn't continue to contend.

I am looking for someone who will be active in the league. At minimum you must be able to log in every day or two to check your team, make your first round draft choice and submit your opening day lineup. If you need to go on vaction or are without net access for some other reason arrangements can be made for me to "watch over" your team while you are gone.

Previous OOTP experience is not required but please tell me some leagues you are in (if any) so I can get an idea of your particpation level.

MLB Replay, is honestly, my favorite league. Every other week, you got a shot at wining the World Series. Every couple of months, one lucky person gets to draft someone like Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, or Roger Hornsby. It may be a unigue league, but it's a great one.
