OOTP six goes crash

Any idea why my game would crash befor the season begins. The day is April 1st. The season starts April 5th. When I finnish the day to move to April 2nd, the game crashes. Sometimes I get a message saying "You have a new email". Then when I try to view the emial it crashes. Other times there is no email, it just crashes.

The only thing I can think of is maybe stickware's schedule generator is not compatable, or I have to change a date somewhere int he program. I don't ever remeber OOTP starting five days before opening day.

Shouldn't there be a Kangaroo Court or something for people who are the first reply to their own post?

Anyway. I changed the start date from 4/1 to 4/4 with games scheduled for 4/5 and that seemed to work. Does this make sense to anyone? I can't see how this would make the difference between the game crashing and not crashing. Then again, I'm not a programmer, so I'm clueless.

Not quite, but that league doesn't work. I started playing with CBL Cardinals rosters and that league works fine. The league that doesn't want to progress beyond day one is a custom league with 24 teams, using CBL's rosters.
