CSV import errors

i was playing around with the ootp origins mods and wanted to change some player info in a league. i exported the general info CSV, changed some origins and saved.

when i try to import the file back into the league, the game crashes every time.

not sure what im doing wrong. maybe im saving it wrong? im using excel2000. when i try to save the file, i get a 'save as' dialog and overwrite the existing file with the one i just altered. i then see the message that 'players_general.csv may contain features that may not be compatible with CSV. do you want to save the workbook in this format?'

i dont know if thats related. any help appreciated
