LBNA cherche 2 DG

Bonjour,

Windsor Wild Boars

Cooperstown Clovers

It is known as a common courtesy as a commissioner to ask the commissioner of a league if you can solicit his league members. Try to extend this to other leagues, as you did not for mine or my members.

So what you're saying is once someone joins your league you own their rights and they aren't allowed to be invited to join other leagues without your express permission?

What's the difference between posting league openings here and emailing people to see if they wish to join a league? I would think most owners in online leagues are quite capable of deciding for themselves if they can take on another team or not.

No, its called common courtesy. I ask other commissioners if it is okay to ask their members if they would like to join my league. It is different if you actively scan other web sites and look at their member lists, etc., to solicit league members.

IMHO, it shows very poor form. I run a fantasy-style league with OOTP5. I admit that it is not the right kind of league for some people. I have a wonderful relationship with other leagues. I often recommend these other leagues when my league is not what the prospective owner is looking for. This is what I mean. Get it now?

No I don't get it. Like I said, just because someone is in your league, other people now need your permission to email them?

Sorry, I don't see your point at all.

Once again, it's called common courtesy. If you ran a league, you would understand.
