Next Generation Baseball League

Team availiable: Oakland A's

Features:
- 80 million dollar salary cap
- 32 teams (4 divisions per league, 4 teams per division)
- Equalized merchandising revenue
- Restricted Free Agency system (allows for teams to bid on the services of some of the leagues top players, rather than the 35 year old dreck most are accustomed to)
- 3 sims per week, one week per sim (Tu, Th, Sa mornings)
- The league plans to upgrade to OOTP6 following the current season. (8/18/2018)

The A's are a team in need of a lot of attention and are closing in on their third straight 100 loss season. The A's #1 overall pick from a year ago has bombed, this year's #3 overall is out for the season with a broken wrist, and the team sits with a 43-81 overall record. The team's pitching is horrible, as evidenced by this 41-8 shalacking from earlier this season, to go with their mediocre lineup. The best news in Oakland is that the team should have around 20 million dollars in free cap room next season, giving them the oppurtunity to bid on this seasons prized FA crop. The team is desperate for a devoted owner to put the wheels in motion and get this team turned around. Sitting on their hands, not exporting, and watching the team lose hasn't worked for the last two owners, so we are looking for someone with a little differant plan.

Is definatly an example of some poor AI decision making. Leaving the poor fella in there for 26 runs and 18 walks in 3 innings of work. eeek

Clarnzzy is celebrating the big 29 today and is officially 1 year from joining our "establishment" of old farts in this league.

The NGBL has a nice array of owners and a recent addition was an OOTP vet who took over the Colorado Rockies. This gentleman was an excellent commish, in the past, and an excellent addition to our league.

Clarnzz is an excellent commish and cannot say enough about the great work he continues to do for our league. Quite a few owners have done extra work to add a lot of enjoyment to the league over the seasons and I have enjoyed being a part of this league immensely. Please apply for the A's if you are looking to add another league to your repertoire or a newbie looking to join your first league. We are just as fast to add a newbie as we are an OOTP vet.
