Search before posting. Here is a good example..
Ok everyone, I know this is a sore subject for a few, but its worth mentioning.
Before you post, try the Search function. You'll be amazed at what the Search Engine is able to find when you use it. For Example: I've noticied that in my Solo League in V6, the attendance of the teams were way down in comparisons to the previous season which was played in V5. I thought this was a bug and I thought something was wrong with V6. I checked my settings and saw that everything seemed normal. I did notice that the higher the team Loyalty, the better the attendance was for that team. Basically, I didn't see very many Sell outs like I had in V5. Anyways, I decided to look on the front page of the V6 Forum. I didn't see a "heated" thread regarding Attendance listed. I went to the Search Engine, typed in Attendance and the 3rd Thread listed was this: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ght=Attendance Inside this thread, I found my answer. Markus had changed the game's calculation of attendance in V6 but had offset the change with the Game's handling of the TV Contracts. In the end, I prevented another Thread being posted on something that had already been answered simply by doing a search. My words of wisdom for everybody including the Veterans like me: Search before posting. You'll be amazed at what the Search Engine comes up with!

So if one were to post a thread needlessly without doing a search, I believe we could call that "thread polution."

Mal - are you seeing this? Didn't you used to have something like this as your standard response to a post asking a question that had been asked and answered dozens of times? Albeit your responses were usually more, um, let's say succint...
Thanks Riverdawg!

Ok everyone. Everytime that you are going to post a question but instead do a search to the find the answer, make sure that you post a thread to tell us that we dont need to post the question
