Slipped on the wet grass....

After a rain delay my second baseman, "slipped on the wet grass" while going for a groundball. Nice touch! kinda cool

That happened to Eli Marrero in Chicago last year, I think. Screwed up his ankle pretty good.

Happened often enough in games I played out in OOTP5. Of course, wet grass only comes into play after a rain delay (at least I've never seen it happen on a day when it didn't rain).

I don't recall wet grass ever causing an injury, but it does seem to contribute to errors fairly often when it comes into play---if a rain delay occurs early in the game, chances are decent that wet grass will make somebody boot one before the game's over.

I've had two recent wet grass errors in the last six or eight gaemes I've played by hand.
