little help, please. Steve? Henry? Markus?

My season has been going along fine...no problems or anything from the start.

I just had my first crash on this particular thing. I keep trying to simulate and it keeps crashing on this one game. I've checked the lineups and pitchers and everything. It all seems fine.

I tried copying and pasting the error message into this thread, but it won't work.

Any idea what's happening? I know I'm not offering up much info...

Also, I have the patch. Tell me what kind of info you need from me and I'll try to give it to you.

Interesting...I decided to try to play the game instead of sim it and it let me. I was able to sim through until the 8th inning...if I tried to play the game and simulate that way all the way through it would crash. I just played the 8th and 9th inning out and it worked. I'll see what happens the next day with the same teams.

Did you run the computer manager on those teams?

Yeah I ran computer manager...I saw a post on here just now from people saying they're having the same problems with the simming thing. I tried simming every way possible and it'd crash. I stopped playing for now. I'm gonna see later if it's just that series that's doing it.

Are you sure that in neither of the lineups a player is listed twice or a posistion is listed twice? That will cause this problem. If that's not the case then I don't know.

No players are listed twice. I'm able to play the game if I click "play"...but if I try to sim it crashes

Check the depth charts too... I was having the same problems and i took everyone out of the depth charts cept the starters and that fixed it. I then added people slowly to make sure I did not get double people in there. The depth chart is screwy so I hope they can fix that.

Also check minor league lineups to make sure there are no players with blank positions or multiple players at a position.

I checked all of that stuff and made sure the depth chart was in line and everything...the game still crashes. I've found that it's only for the LA Dodgers. Everything looks in order though. Any other ideas? I'll keep looking for stuff

When I manually fill in the depth chart should I have everything filled in such as the defensive replacement and the possible starters below that? Or should I just have the starters in their position only?

Starters for each position in the depth chart should be enough, but it's actually probably more important to have the lineups filled in than the depth charts.

Ok...thanks for all your help, sporr. I appreciate it. I've looked at my team and I just can't figure out what it is that's messing up. I even tried to run computer manager and that didn't even fix the problem. As long as I play the game manually it works, but it's a pain in the ass to play all 162 games to get it to work right when I want to seem week by week. I guess I'll keep trying. I'm stubborn and don't want to reset my league.

I ran into this exact problem. My "solution" was to keep try to sim because sometimes it will work. After a couple weeks, the simming normally started to work again. Haven't had the problem since.
