Different Double Switch Problem

I ran into a problem when I tried to do a double switch. I had a pitcher warming up in the bullpen and when I did a double switch the computer put in a different pitcher the next half inning. From then on I could not control the game as it would only let me watch what was going on. I went in to check the game controls and noticed that it had switched my team from human controlled to computer controlled. It would not let me switch back because it said I could only do it before the game. I did all of this in the 8th inning so the controls were set on human for my team. Hope this is not too confusing.

Were you thrown out of the game? Otherwise, I don't know.

I believe the manager was thrown out but I don't play manager mode so I did not think it would take away my controls of the game. Still if that was the case then why did it put in a different pitcher than the one that was warming up. I did have warm up rule enabled so that pitcher should have been the only one who could go in.

If it was because the manager was thrown out then that would explain it. I was not aware that when you are thrown out of the game then the computer would take over. If so then I guess that is pretty cool.

Yeah, it works that way in either manager mode or in non-manager mode.

Thanks Mike. This is my third OOTP and either this scenario never came up during the coarse of play or I just wasn't paying attention.
