Bizarre Email Bug

I recently converted an OOTP5 League to OOTP6, one of my dynasty threads....so I only play in God Mode.

I sim the entire season with all teams under CPU control.

Since I downloaded the 6.01 patch, I've been getting notices like this:
"There is new email for GIF89aT! Stop Sim?"

If you click Yes, the Sim crashes. If you click No, the Sim continues, but the notice pops up nearly every sim day. Rather annoying and time-consuming.

Obviously, there are no human-controlled teams, especially ones named GIF89aT, and I am not in Manager mode, so this shouldn't happen.

Has anyone else seen this bug?

I seem to have found a way around the bug, but this is simply a Mickey Mouse fix.

If in God mode, make sure that you have the following set to NO in the Sim Options on the Schedule Page:

Notice injuries on Human-controlled teams?
Notice emails on Human-controlled teams?

For some reason, it thinks there is a human-controlled team named GIF89aT.
