i notice if u pick standard league in ootp 6 it wont use the real MLB players names, but i heard its cbl MLB roster but they change the players names on it? is that true? i know they had to do this for license issue, etc
but guess what they forgot to take the names out in the record book in the almanac ...there real mlb players names on there still... |

the CBL Rosters are considered 3rd party rosters, so they don't need a license from the MLBPA in order to make it available to the public.

thanks
i understand that.... but if there were goign to change all the names on cbl roster if u Pick Standard league on ootp 6 startup menu, why not change the names in the record book, or just wipe them clear...why keep the real mlb players in the record book.....seems like they forgot Its no big deal i guess, u can clear the record book yourself if u wanted too before u start the first game...but for newbies...picking standard league in ootp 6 main menu opening screen when u load the game is great if u want to use all the default setting, 30 teams, and jump right into it...they wont notice that there MLB players stil in the record book... |
