Are there players in the draft from Latin America?

Obviously, MLB doesn't have an international draft, but I took a quick look at one of the draft pages in OOTP6, and I didn't notice any players from Puerto Rico, the Dominican, etc. Are they in there and I just missed them, or is the draft completely American/Canadian now?

Just fully checked a draft, no Latin American players. So, in a longterm league, you're looking at an entirely American group, with the occassional Australian or Canadian.

This is something that needs to be changed in the next patch. Add an "International" section, along with College and High School in the draft, that's comparable to the High School level of competition, and has 18 and 19 year old Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Taiwanese and Japanese, etc.

I'm not sure why you got this result but I just pulled up the latest draft from a custom league and clicked on the first player and his "home" is listed as Dominican Republic, 3rd one Mexico and 6th one Puerto Rico.

Yup.

And I just checked the top 100 prospect list, for a league that's been running 10 years, and there are no players on that list from Latin America.

I just created a new league, same thing, no Latin players in the draft.

Are you people using leagues created just in OOTP6? That's what I'm doing, brand new league.

There isn't a setting under Setup or something that shuts of foreign players, is there?

I'll uninstall, and then reinstall, see if that fixes it.

I'm using a stock fictional league created in OOTP6 no adjustments or changes.

What year are you starting your league from?
You will have far less Latin players in a league begun in 1920 as you will in 2004.

Is there a trigger on Latin Players that only allows them after a certain year? These leagues I am using are in the 1910ish area.

I uninstalled, then reinstalled, created a 1900 league, no Latin American players.

Then, I created a 2004 league, and it had Latin Players in it. Will they only show up after a certain year?

By the way, very cool feature. I was just unaware that OOTP6 based the creation of L.A. Players on the year. Caught me a little offguard there.
