Executable problem
Before I explain my problem, let me explain that I downloaded the setup file at work and put it on to my laptop here, but I have no internet access from my laptop and so I have yet to register and ACTUALLY start the game, but before I do, I want to make sure that this won't be a problem:
I downl;oaded no problem, opened the .exe and everything started to extract. When I get to rally 2.wav, it freezes. the little file papers keep moving, but nothing is happening and the "total time lest" box says 0 minutes and 0 seconds. This makes me assume that this is the LAST file to be extracted. It DOESN'T extract though. SO, I copied rally 1 and renamed it rally 2 so that if the game goes to open it during play, it won't crash due to it being AWOL. Will this be a problem? Does anyone know if any other files might have not extracted? Anyone else have this happen? I don't want to start the game up only to have it crash and burn. Thanks to anyone that can help!

This may solve your problem, though not sure.
If you transferred files via CD then ALL of the files are now “read only” in their properties. Highlight all of the files, right click and select properties, UNCHECK “read-only” then save and that should solve the problem.

It didn't really solve the problem, but I think I might just redownload when I get home to be ceratin that everything is okay. Just as an FYI if anyone else has this issue, nothing was read-only when I looked (maybe becasue it was a CD-RW and not just a CD-R??)
