Phantom Inning

At first I thought I was trippin ... the inning ended without getting three outs. But it really happened. Haven't seen this error before.

Quote:
Batting: New York, top of 3rd.

Pitching: Roy Kent
1B Joe Agua:
SINGLES to short right-center.
2B Rick Ramey:
SINGLES down the third-base line.
J. Agua to second.
RF Bud Thompkins:
Grounds into fielders choice to the first baseman, Ramey out at 2nd base.
J. Agua to third.
C Glen Polk:
Inning over... no runs, 2 hits, no errors.

I've never seen this but it's possible that it just could have been a pbp hic-up. Do you have the boxscore and do the outs total up?

I had an instance during one of our live AS games where a team was shorted an out. I don't remember the circumstances now. I'll have to check to see if I can find that boxscore and gamelog.

At first I thought I blacked out or something. When I did the replay PbP, all it said was "Inning over... no runs, 2 hits, no errors." I haven't added up the outs yet, I will when I get home today.

how about phantom games. My first game in a solo league - Didn't go extra innngs, but I had 2 starting pitchers, 1 pitched 14 innings, 1 pitched 7. Hmm, scared me off; so I started a new league.

Ok, I checked the outs, everything adds up. Must be a PbP hiccup like Steve-O said.
