Question OOTP6 download size?

Sorry, but I'm sure this question has been asked and I've done a search and come up with nothing...so, what will the file size of OOTP6 be? I'm unlucky enough to be on 56k here in the UK.

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but I can't find any threads on it.

Thanks in advance.

Most likely, it will be larger than the download size of OOTP5. It's going to be painful too for me on 56k. waiting, waiting, waiting.

I feel for you guys. I had to DL OOTP4 on 56k. I bought OOTP5 and actually waited several weeks until I got a cable connection before DLing it. Now I don't care how large the file is. Just a matter of minutes.

Since it's going to contain both engines, it would have to be considerably bigger I would think.

great game though for all the fps fans out there.

..and just in case the original poster didn't have OOTP5, fyi, the download for it is around 21 Meg. I would assume this one will be larger.

I was just joshing. When I had dial-up, my mom would send me 2Meg files. Ugh.

Maybe Ninjoid can get in touch with dougiton and get a burned CD. The UK isn't that big, anymore.

What I did to download OOTP5 was download a download manager that lets me resume the download and just download it a few MB at a time. You can get a download manager from downloads.com. Just look up "download manager".

Heh, could be worse. It could come on 6 CD's like Unreal Tournament 2004 does...

OOTP5 was also made available to download in multiple 1.44MB files. With OOTP6 being an even larger download, it's probably a good guess they'll do the same again.

I don't expect OOTP6 to be much larget than OOTP5. Maybe a couple extra MegaBytes, but nothing drastic. In fact, it wouldn't be at all out of the realm of possibility that OOTP6's download size is a bit smaller than OOTP5, considering advances in compression technology since last year. I guess we'll have to wait and see, though either way it doesn't bother me much. I do sympathize with those of you on 56k or heaven forbid slower connection; I knew the pain all too well just a couple years ago.
