Two Bugs just seen in OOTP5 hope fixed for OOTP6
Wow guys I had two bugs in back to back games, I had never seen before
#1) I was Florida vs ATL(CPU). ATL hit Connie with a pitch, they rumbled both ejected. ATL(CPU) brought J.Cruz into the game to pitch. but also put him on first as my pinch runner. Also Redmond ground to 2b and they got Cruz out at 2b, and it even says CRUZ was the baserunner in the PBP. I tried to go to the lineup screen to sub a PR in but could not. One last thing they never threw Connie out of the game, even through both the PBP and Boxscore said he got thrown out. Anybody ever seen this before???? #2 I had a runner on base and popped it up behind home plate in FOUL territory, what did the computer say. Infield fly rule, the batter was automatically out? That makes no sense. Matt Last edited by RBPD5015; 04-15-2004 at 07:46 PM. |

Looks to me like Juan Cruz is pitching and J. Cruz is running, two different players.
Agree with you on point 2, popup behind home is not an infield fly. |

It's the same player. Pitchers show first name, other positions do not.

Look at the pictures... J Cruz IS Juan Cruz...that's just how the game displays a base runner as opposed to a pitcher

Now check this out, back to my #1 bug,
I pinch hit for my pitcher ok, with W.Cordero. he singles, they then then then sub there pitcher Grybowski out of the game, they then put him as a pitch runner for Cordero who is a t first. a couple plays later I hit a doubl eand Grybowski scores and they credit him for a run so instead of 5-3 like the game score says, if you look in the box score Atlanta had 4 runs and Florida has 4 runs, since Grybowski scored for me and he is a Brave? I sure hope this is a known bug, cause it is messing with my stats. MAtt |

#1 is a known bug... a quick perusal through the troubleshooting forum would have confirmed that.
Look guys, please at least take 45 seconds and look/search before posting repeat threads ad nauseum... Thank you!
