Help with logos for my fictional league
I saw that a lot of people are getting help here from some great artists with logos for their fictional leagues. I was able to get most of the teams in my league settled with much of your hard work that was already done for others and was hoping that some of you would be willing to help me with a few changes that are beyond my abilities.
I have a total of 8 logos that need some editting (some/many of them are from this very forum). Please let me know if you would be willing to help out. Thanks, Shane I'll post the first couple just in case... The first is the Providence Patriots. I'd like to incorporate this picture and have the name of the team added as well. |

Nothing fancy, but the best I can do. Surprisingly I didn't have one single Providence logo to steal the text from, and none of the Patriots text I did have worked well.

Preston's is a lot better than mine.
He's even in Cape Cod! Go Cape Cod! (Family has had a summer place in Falmouth my entire life.)

That looks excellent! Thanks a lot!
The next one is the Memphis Blues, I found this picture on another thread, but wasn't able to resize it myself to add in the text. |

Give this one a try.
I am just starting to try my hand at some graphics work, so it's on the simple side. I took your image, resized it, and added some simple text to get the city and team name in there. Let me know how it works for you.

Kelric and PrestonKaye: both are well done...PK's has the edge because of the lettering...it really stands out. |

That looks good. Thanks.
The other teams I'm looking for are: Carolina Flyers Phoenix Phantoms Albuquerque Roadrunners Omaha Explorers New Jersey Revolution San Jose Sharks Iowa Hawks If anyone wants to take a stab at these feel free, I'm not dead set on anything I have with these teams, but I'll post some of the graphic files I have for all of these teams. |

Oh yeah, credits to Jeff Olsen for the above Sharks logo that I found on this site.
And scratch New Jersey off my earlier list, I forgot that I had found a Jersey Black Sox logo and decided to go with that instead.. Here is a flyers graphic I had in mind. |

My photoshop wont work right. It has a measuring thing around the border. Shows like a scale with inches and stuff, so I can't see what my logo looks like.

http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/9735/ Many of the nicknames have a website showing the logos the teams use...They are the ones highlighted in blue. Hawks sample: http://www.sjuhawks.com/ Another Hawks: http://www.sepbl.com/team_houma.aspx Sorry, Explorers is a hard one to find, not many teams use it...LaSalle has the nickname, but not a very good logo. logoserver is a great place for logo ideas, but you have to spend time searching for them. http://www.logoserver.com/ Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-17-2004 at 10:36 PM. |

Preston, that looks great. Thanks again!
Eugene, thanks for the links. That seems like a good site that I'll probably use if I add some expansion teams in my league down the road. I was able to get a few of my logos from all your requests in that large thread! So another thanks to you and all of those hard workin' artists! I had a hard time with Ohama Nebraska, the reason I ended up picking the Explorers was because on the Nebraska tourist sites they have all this stuff about Lewis & Clark. So I thought that Explorers might fit. |

Omaha Explorers is a fine name. I really like logos that are related to the city's culture and history.
Someone will probably create an Omaha Explorers logo for you. Weekends seem to have more designers available. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-17-2004 at 10:57 PM. |
