It's good to be back...

I took a year off, so to speak, from playing OOTP after being totally addicted during the 2002 season. But I bought OOTP5 last night, and am already "rehooked" again...

In my first game with my beloved Florida Marlins -- yes, I was a fan long before last year's World Series -- I got thrown out in the top of the ninth with the score tied 1-1. The computer AI made a pitching change after I got the heave, the new pitcher walked guys to load the bases and I eventually lost 3-1...

You gotta love this game!!

I may not last long, however... The Marlins lost game two to Houston 10-6... At least Cliff Floyd (who is still in Florida in my world -- using an old OOTP4 league file) went 4-5 with 3 doubles and 2 RBIs... My pitching stinks, however...

Yes, welcome back

A year off? I don't know how you made it through the withdrawl symptoms. I am shaking, itchy, sweating, and vomitting just in anticipation for OOTP6.

Ya mean you're not a fan of the Diamondbacks and the Big Unit?
